Century Mining Recoups Portion of Yesterday's 15% Slide as Dilution Concerns Ease…

Posted 9/15/2011 2:19 PM by MidnightTrader.com Staff from Midnight Trader in Investing, Commodities

Century Mining Corp (CMM.V) is recovering at least some of Wednesday's 15%
decline, with shares rebounding today and the miner saying it has now wrapped a
pair of financial bids raising a total of $5.5 million in gross proceeds.

Century shares slid 4 cents yesterday, closing at 22.5 cents each, likely
falling on dilution concerns after the company said it had closed on the sale of 13.75
million shares priced at 20 cents each. It also announced the $2.75 million
flow-through financing bid priced at 23 cents a share that closed today.

Proceeds are tabbed for the company's Lamaque project near Val d'Or,
Quebec.
