It is the absolute worst failing of the " basically good" people of this planet to try to see good in everyone. A man of good intent CAN NOT confront evil. The best we can do with a criminal is to lock him up so we don't have to look at him. It is a statistical fact that 2.5 percent of the population is evil, truely evil and another 17.5 percent " appear" evil by connection to those truely evil. So, how do we weed them out, how do we tell one from the other. Simple comparison will do nicely.

EVIL                                                     GOOD

speaks in broad generalities                      speaks in specifics,

deals in bad news,critical            good news, reluctant to pass bad

alters to worsen,makes worse     passes news unaltered omit bad

does not respond to help                           can be helped

surrounded by people in poor shape          people  in good shape

                      sick and failing                       heatlthy successful

can not select the correct target of trouble         can so select

can not finish a project, activity       can finish, gets things done

no sense of responsibility              takes responsibilty for actions

   no guilt or shame

In total there are a dozen character points good and bad.

PROOF you are not evil, evil CAN NOT be introspective, can't look at their own rotten core.
