Interesting…the evidence:

CMM halted, WTG not halted

CMM = alot of buying action last two days (insider news…good?) Was trading halted because of this…hence the delay in the news?

Last PP was an after hours announcement…I think…so probably something more substantial.

Probably not NI43-101 update – not this fast and not until the merger is final.

Probably not directly related to the merger (as WTG not halted)

Drill results?

SOMETHING IS AFOOT Definitely…have a look here at who is being hired. All posted October 20 and all closing December 18!!!

the last pp was during trading hours, so I can't see it being related to that.  Not sure what's taking so long for the NR.

I have to agree, that this must be CMM related, and not the finalization of the merger due to WTG still trading(or available to trade!).

I'm not holding my breath for a positive NR, as most of the buying was met with some big sells.  I remember this thing running to .76 before the cease trade order, and it went up a few other times that we received neg. releases (we were over .29 the day the .20 pp came out.)  Some of the french websites are still saying that the miners and company are far apart on their agreement as well…however, I'm certainly hoping for a positive shot in the arm here.

Isn't IIROC they agency that monitors trading activity? Looks like the cleaned house, does that mean Adrian McNutt is gone?

No, McNutts is the Operations Manager for the whole company.  Perhaps with the merger he is done, finished.  He did such a great job with the Sigma Pit and his "pull yer self up by yer boot straps" approach seems to have failed at the Lamaque Mine too…so no loss if he leaves.

But this list of positions at Lamaque suggests that either they fired a bunch of guys or those guys quit not wanting to work for Finsky & Co.  But who the heck is running the show at Lamaque right now if these guys all walked away?
